.... of ANY sports programming on television ANYWHERE in America ... more than 3.6 million viewers.

Michigan football (2.8 million) was 2nd
TCU (2.6 million) was 3rd

No other sports programming in the country that day drew more than 985,000 viewers.

These two guys and a couple from Ninety-Six with rabbit ears who forgot their tickets watched clemson play Wofford from the parking lot.

How can you wrap Clemson into this?

Didn't they PLAY this week?
Weren't they on TV? Their 'audience' numbers will be published Tuesday, put a note in your tickle-file then COMPARE their viewing-audience to 'Carolina's 3,601,000 viewers.

It won't be HALF. THAT is a 'recruiting' point.

If you were a 'band' in the 1960's (Beatles?) and wanted to REACH 'viewers' would you want to appear on the 'Ed Sullivan Show' or Uncle Ned's Entertainment Hour on channel 13 in Macon, GA with an audience of maybe 12?

Cadillac being one sponsor, Fincher's BBQ on Pio Nono Avenue being the other.

Do you GET the 'connection' now?

I actually didn't see your reference to Clemson.

I was genuinely wondering how you would tie-in Clemson in another thread. I guess you took care of it!

Apples and oranges. Compare Clemson's numbers on Thursday against Louisville in a couple of weeks. Also take a look at the numbers when yall play The Citadel. They will most likley be comparable.
