Michigan State suspended all football activities for 14 days on July 24 due to positive tests, and just 3 days ago App St indefinitely suspended practice after 7 students and 4 staff members tested positive.
So we are talking a lot more than just a day or two.

I read a couple, like ND, and I forget the other, suspended practices on Wednesday and thursday, with no news after that.

Edit: I did see where at least michigan state started up again a couple weeks ago.
