That pitching staff is nasty. There isn't a team in baseball that will match their Friday and Saturday starters. Their achilles is hitting which opens the door to other good teams like Florida. But for the past few years Vandy has been Pitcher U dating back to David Price and now they seem to have up the anty.

If their hitters get hot at the right time they will be unstoppable on the road to Omaha. Pitching doesn’t go into slumps. Might have a bad outing from time to time but no slumps
Vandy is #2 in conference batting average. #14 nationally. Vandy is a good hitting team. Our pitching probably deserves more credit than they are getting.
Our pitching is off the chain for the most part.. these past couple of Days, you just have to tip the cap to the other team..
Feel really bad for our pitchers. The lack of support is disheartening.
I may add also, Vandy hitters are more relaxed at the plate knowing their pitching is dominate. Score 3 or more and let it roll on Fri/Sat.
No our hitters are lights off. Never seen so many hitters approach so bad as ours.
They are the college version of the old Dodgers. I'm talking about the second half of the 1960s.
We were VERY fortunate to take 1 on the road vs those guys. They are by far the best team in the country. We almost won Friday as well.
I think Carolina's performance against Vandy was acceptable.1 win and in the other 2.The Texas series might be the one we look back on and scratch our heads.
