They are wearing the Yankees logo on their helmet during the Pinstripe Bowl. What a bad idea.

Edit: I see this is honoring the Yankees for coming down to play an exhibition in Blacksburg after the 2008 shooting. Nice gesture. Otherwise it would’ve just been weird.

I have to admit that until I heard the story it appeared a little “hokie” to have a new helmet logo for the pinstripe bowl.
