The final birdie in Dawn Staley’s nest has revealed herself.

Raven Johnson, a five-star point guard in the class of 2021, announced her commitment to South Carolina on Thursday, making her the fourth pledge in the class for the Gamecocks.

Johnson is ranked No. 13 overall in the class of 2021 by ESPN, and No. 2 at the point guard position. Prospects Nation rates her at No. 24, and All-Star Girls Report has her at No. 23.

but I think our chances are slim.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think she has visited our Campus. Perhaps there are other favorites she has been unable to visit? Maybe that’s part of the issue. I would not commit unless I had visited all the schools that I was considering to see living arrangements, academic facilities, practice facilities, meet with academic counselors etc. COVID 19 has Locked down visiting since her season ended.

I think that the nest is full of birdies but we still have a scholly to give For her. Otherwise, I think we can put a lid on this class. And it’s a great one!
