Back when we were completely done with Kurt Roper after the 2017 season, it wasn’t until the Wednesday after conference championship game weekend (11 days after the Clemson game) when Roper was fired. Roper and Muschamp might not have been confidants but Muschamp had a lot of respect and trust in Roper, especially with him saying that Roper may have saved him at Florida if brought along sooner and so he tried to let him find another job in order to save him some embarrassment. I’m sure if Beamer plans on letting and Satterfield go, considering they’re friends and with how much college football has changed just over the last couple of years he would be going about things the same way right now.
