What advantage does Auburn have over Mississippi?

Rumor going around that Kiffin will resign at Mississippi on Friday and will be the next coach at Auburn. Auburn has a bigger football stadium and a few more dollars than Mississippi has to offer, but what kind of advantage would Kiffin have moving to Auburn? The only thing I can think of is it might be easier to recruit at Auburn than Mississippi but that is it. Anywho, I think the two parties would be a great match with Kiffin a coach that cannot stay at a football program for a lengthy time and Auburn which has a very limited Patiences with football coaches.

I think the perception is that it's a bigger "football school" than Ole Miss. Plus, they probably can afford to pay more to coaches and probably recruit better on a consistent basis. Still, if I were a coach with options, I wouldn't go near Auburn because of those maniac boosters.

The Iron Bowl is bigger than the Egg Bowl. But Kiffen is only a mediocre winner - not a big winner. He might have become that had he remained at Tennessee, but that's uncertain. Things is, Auburn knows he'll do offense well, and maybe they're willing to gamble that offense will translate into national relevance. I think he's a leaky vessel myself.

Yeah, I think Kiffin told his team yesterday that something spectacular would have to happen for him to leave Mississippi, but still, I think it is possible that he departs Oxford. Kiffin reminds of the basketball coach Larry Brown with both of them have no loyalty to any team.
