--Chris Silva said he's putting a lot of pressure on himself this season and he felt like he was actually enjoying the game for the first time in a while.

--Gravett, when asked about his role, said he knew this team would be young and knew he needed to step up. Said freshmen can't make the big shots earlier in the season so he knew someone needed to step up.

--On Silva, Gravett said he tries to take on a lot of responsibility and doesn't have to. Silva's better when he doesn't have to take on too much. On Lawson, Gravett said the biggest thing for him is confidence.

Frank Martin
--Starts by saying it's a "good win for us." Said when Coastal was healthy he thought they had a chance to be a good basketball team. Coastal is significantly undermanned at the guard spot.

--"We're a soft basketball team." Said the team doesn't do a good enough jobs on rebounding.

--When asked about Silva, Martin said he needs to stop worrying about "leading us back to the Final Four." Said he needs to do the things that helped USC make a run in the tournament.

"We need to get him back to that." Said energy is the biggest part of that.

--In starting three freshmen against the Chants, said he likes Gravett off the bench, which leaves freshmen in the starting lineup. Said it gives the team "balance." Said he's not sure if it will continue.

--Lawson responded really well after Martin getting after him in practice yesterday. Said he didn't get worn out tonight and played some point tonight so he could "continue to be aggressive."

"He's got to learn he's got that in him."

--In terms of Evan Hinson, Martin didn't answer on when he'll be back. Said "we'll see" but said it would assumed it'd happen, it's up to when football allows him over.

--Frank Martin said he challenged Gravett in practice Thursday. Said he wasn't happy with how the team responded to the Wofford loss. They weren't "geeked up" as they needed to be. Tells a story from K-State where the best two players went after each other in practice after a loss. Said he needs to have players like that again this year.

"WE're not there yet. we don't have an idea of how to do that." Said it's up to the coaching staff to get them there.
