Where is the feature that allows us to skip from FGF to a rivals board?*

Remember the 2 drop down menus that used to be at the top of the page. The one on the left had the rivals boards of the teams we played. The one on the right had all of GamecockCentral's boards.
I agree with this, under forums at the top of this page it should have a drop down menu so you can switch between the two forums quickly. You could do this on the old site. Now you have to click forums and then find the forum you want to go to on that page and click it. Not a big deal but it is an extra step now.
How do you navigate to the other forums withing gamecock central? I suspect rivals will be losing a lot of traffic in the future. This "new look" is hard to navigate.

To navigate within our own boards, scroll up to the top of your page. You will see four "tabs". One looks like a house (that's the main page/front page), then the next three say "Forums"/"Football Forums"/"Fighting Gamecocks Forum". Click on either Forums or Football Forums and there is the forum index.
Or, you can look at the very top of the page on the navigation bar and there are several options (News/Blog/Football, etc.) - to the right is "Forums".
As for us, appears our traffic has increased a bit after release. I see folks posting that haven't in quite a while. Will also up our mobile traffic, given the new site's accessibility.
It will just take getting used to for some and some clearing up of questions.
Gotcha- I haven't found a way to get to other team forums directly from a drop down. If you look up top on the navigation bar, you can click colleges and find the different team sites. The boards are pretty easily accessible from each team's front page site there.
What about from a mobile device? I not seeing what you described on my phone. desktop yes but not on the phone
When you're looking at the forum on your phone, look up top and see the "rivals" logo. When I click on that on mobile it takes me to the forum list.
