Who are you pulling for tonight in the Egg Bowl?

It's a tough decision if I want the thug team that acts like a pissing dog or the thug team that doesn't get punished for taking cheap shots in a brawl. I guess I have to pick for the coaches so I'll have to pull for the pirate, even though Kiffin has a real heart warming story of redemption where in just a few years he went from pumping gas for Nick Saban to coaching at the third most prestigious program he's led. Hail State!

I’m pulling for Ole Miss because I hate the stupid cow bells. I wish the refs could penalize the home team‘s fans for artificial noise makers.

All I know is a ton of people on this board said Lane and The Pirate would never win in the SEC …. Both looking pretty good in year 2 .

Lane is probably about to bolt to Miami. Still not sure Leach is close to winning the SEC. Probably a very good chance those tons of people will be correct.

Kiffin did a great job in year two. Leach’s team is still very inconsistent. They can beat anybody but lose to anybody. Kiffin losing a great QB this year so I’d expect a bit of a drop off if he did come back to Ole Miss. But I’d be surprised if he coaches another game there.

I always kind of liked Ol’ Miss for some reason. So If I had to pick i guess I would go with them. I really don’t care though. It is a rivalry game I like to watch each year if competitive.
Leach is a cool guy, so is Kiffen. I like both of their personalities as coaches. Both are entertaining in their own way.

Kiffin reminds me of SOS. When Ol Miss is humming on offense, he always seems to keep the defense off balance. I think a classic example is calling a QB draw at exactly the right time. He seems to just have a feel for it.

Those three drops in the red zone on State's last possession of the first half and a horrible field goal kicker set them up for the loss.

I just don’t see Lane going to Miami . It seems like a lateral move at best . LSU or UF maybe but I would be shocked if he went to Miami . He’s got a pretty good thing going at Ole Miss with not a lot of pressure to win . Nothing would surprise me at this point however .

It may not be Miami but I’d be fairly surprised if he doesn’t get one of these big jobs. I won’t be shocked if he stays, but surprised yes.

Coaching is Kiffin's job and Ole Miss is his current employer...that's the extent of that working relationship. Nothing wrong with it, but if another school offers him a nice raise, he'll pack up his belongings and move. Again.
