For 3 years I have asked this question, it is embarrassing. 3 straight strike outs on 12 pitches...2 strike outs and didnt EVEN swing the bat...Ranked 2nd in pitching 13th in batting. Were SOFT like Holbrook...

Although I get your point.... lAfter three years you still do not know who the hitting coach is at USC?

Google is your friend...... http://www.gamecocksonline.com/sports/m-basebl/mtt/buscher_brian00.html

Buscher was a volunteer coach. How do you not have a paid assistant that is a hitting coach? NGU has a paid pitching coach, hitting coach and fielding coach...two of which we are very familiar with.

I was told it was Holbrook & Buscher!
It was. Baseball, unlike football or other sports, tend to have "Blurred" roles vs Very defined roles. So since Buscher was the "Hitting" coach, they'll go find the best coach they can, then designate a hitting coach based on who all is on staff. Meyer is pretty much the only one who's strictly designated to one role... And that's cause he's the shit!
