Whoever our batting coach is, FIRE him...NOW....!!!

It does seem that every team we play knows how to make contact to put the ball in play with runners in scoring position when our players all seem to try and hit for the fence every time they are in the same position.

Well than friggin PAY someone to teach these dudes to hit, because we are getting what we pay for.

Why fire Buscher?

He is a proven hitter based on his past performance as a player both pro and college. He can only teach-not execute. The players are responsible for that. With that said, a player needs some confidence/relax. Sort of like grip and rip it, quit over thinking and let your ability take over.

jbouten: a Q for you ~ are you an older guy like me who lived in the Roddey Community near Leslie back in the mid-forties?

Exactly....agree 100%.

Don't you think it has a lot to do with the pitching they are going against? How come did Michael Roth shut down all the great hitters in college baseball? If the pitching is good all the teaching wont help!
