Why are weekday games starting at 4 p.m.?

It doesn't affect me, because I don't live in South Carolina, but I just find it odd that the games start before people get off work. It seems like the crowds would be better at night. Just curious.

Makes sense. I'm in Baton Rouge, and LSU pretty much never plays a day game on a weekday.

Once SEC series’s start they’ll go to the 7,4, and 1pm times I believe

They were scheduled in advance and assumption was February would be cold at night.

Columbia is generally colder than Baton Rouge; this February has been unusually warm.
