Why does Andy Demetra sound like he is talking in a tin can ?

A couple of media members explained to me that Andy is very insecure about his nasally and otherwise annoying voice.
To compensate, he boosts up the bass on the audio equipment to sound more professional. Instead it sounds like crap, like he's in a closet or something. Notice Tommy Moody sounds normal.
1075 is not the issue. Our subpar, annoying voice announcer is.

I thought it might be more of an issue on Missouri's end. Besides that, he needs to stifle a little of his enthusiasm when the other team has a big play.
you are right ancrooster....sometimes the feed on the other end suks....could be lots of reasons....i used to do radio and going away was the worse.....sometimes we would use a cell phone and sometimes we had to use a landline to make the connection to the station.....demetra sounds good to me most of the time, but if he doesnt, you gotta question the feed
Don't think it's on Missouri's end. It sounds just as crummy during our home games. Also sounds distorted during our basketball games.
As far as Andy's enthusiasm for other team--does that bother more or less than his insincere enthusiasm over routine plays in our favor?

Nothing to do with his voice. I was listening on 1320 am at the time but when the woman's post game was over I went to 107.5 FM and sounded normal .
