Forget it that we now have another team ahead of us in the conference in the form of Oklahoma and potentially down the road Texas. Those two obviously gain more than anybody, but among the existing conference members, Columbia is on the northeastern edge of the conference and already establishing an Eastern Seaboard recruiting presence, especially in the Mid Atlantic. Every recruit north of the North/South Carolina line all the way up to the northeast has now heard about this "Super Conference" that is being created. You don't think that is huge for us in recruiting against the ACC and Big 10 in those states ? Most all of the best players are now going to want to go to the SEC. Bring it.
