Why the strikeout is ruining Major League Baseball

Baseball is a sport of cheaters and scalawags (much like cycling) - it’s what makes the sport interesting. Hitters and pitchers have been cheating since the game started to try and get an edge. It’s why I don’t understand people’s aversion to a handful of guys during the “steroid era” (an era that had been going for over a decade longer than what is recognized as the “steroid era.”). If you keep one set of “cheaters” out of Cooperstown - you should have to keep them all out (which means there would be no Cooperstown).

Let them play their games. Just like testing for steroids, it’s time to crack down on doctoring the baseball. And then it will be something else, because there has literally always been something else every decade for 120 years plus.

NASCAR, MLB, NFL, cycling.. you know what they all cheat. So who is the least cheaters?

Offensive #s are up the short time since they’ve started cracking down on sticky stuff
