I agree with your regarding the high expectations, but the reality is that it doesn't appear that top-tier coaches want to work in the Columbia pressure cooker.

Pressure cooker? Geez, why go to any high profile job? Is bama football or Kentucky basketball always struggling for quality head coaches? Doesn't get higher pressure than that. Make the absolute top coaches say no and then whittle the way down to assistants and non power 5. Seems like that is not what has been done. Hope for better than what kornblut reported.
