They should be happy that they are not being probed. Lousy corrupt organization....in major need of reform.
Do you think anyone in NCAA received brides from the shoe company to keep silent about this? Is that one of the reasons the FBI didn't tell NCAA about this?
Well the FBI has subpoena power which the NCAA does not.
The CIA main responsibilities lie in acting for foreign activity. They would not be involved in any capacity

The FBI is involved because of illegal activity... fraud, money laundering, tax evasion etc. This occurred because the source of the money being transferred was from big companies or agents who needed to hide the transactions.
In football, this is not the case. Money in recruiting comes from boosters. And there's actually nothing illegal about giving a kid's family money to convince him to go to a school. While it is clearly an NCAA rule violation, it is not illegal. So the FBI does not care.

It is possible....many athletes get federal grants based off income of parents. Not saying it is ever something that will come up......but there is grounds in many of those instances.
How long until we get uncomfortable hearing the word "probe" all the time.
