As a teenager I lived in a "dry" county. It was about one mile from my town to the next county which was "wet". Needless to say we spent a lot of time in the next county over. I really don't remember anything about "6paks" until grocery stores started selling beer. For me that was after I was married and I began shopping at grocery stores.
Here to fore as a teenager we would buy beer at a "beer joint". One could buy long neck "Buds" for $.25. I drank Bud until they sold to a foreign country. I only drink beer made in America.
I did however just found out that most so called "imported" beers are actually made in the USA.
