Can't believe a professional team resorts to that kind of game.

what they play in the NBA is not basketball. Stars get almost every call. Referees are wildly inconsistent. They'll call the slightest touch in some instances while refusing to call gosh awfu collisions at other times and vice versa.

See I disagree. While it can make the game boring I agree with the hack a shaq. If the Gamecocks were in the national championship and the other team had free throw shooter that hit less than 50% from the line then I would want him on the free throw line as much as possible. Boring sure but it's not my teams fault that the guy sucks at the line and the rules state that you can do it. I would rather win a championship by putting a guy on the line that's gonna hit 1 out of 2 at the most every time than not foul and have somebody blister me from 3 point land and lose

Jim Valvano was way ahead of his time. His State team won the title in '83 over a much better Houston team by fouling and exploiting the Cougars biggest weakness free throw shooting. Players making tens of millions of dollars a year should be able to shoot a 15 foot unopposed shot with regularity IMO. Players these days are looking for those sportscenter moments instead of just being solid fundamentally.

im all for exploiting a teams weakness, but i cant watch the nba....havent in forever....the only way i know anything about it is to look it up online or hear about it on the news.....id rather listen to someone scratch their nails across a chalkboard
