And of course the taters don't play on Wednesday or Jackleg would have never agree to move it to Monday.
That is a lot but I guess coach Holbrook and coach Meyers feel like they have enough in the pen to get it done. I just hope we don't lose to CU and then lose another mid-week game that we would more than likely would've won otherwise. It wouldn't be detrimental to the rest of the season, but it would suck and could have an affect on seeding in the NCAA tourney.
Plus I can already hear the usual baseball and Holbrook critics and the "Fire Somebody" crowd now.

Wow, six games in seven days is tough for the pros. We must have some serious faith in the depth of our pitching staff.

Two makeup games this week. High Point is the makeup for the Davidson game. Wish we could have scheduled NCSU, Dook, Wake, or UnCarolina instead of the Panthers.

To be more clear, wish we'd schedule an FBS, non-mid-major, non-SEC, non-Clemron school to the regular season baseball schedule. I used the big 4 of NC as an example.

No,"cockofdawn", we can't do anything about mother nature but other than the cold, which it has been ALL weekend, wonder why they didn't put the game off a few hours since it stopped raining a LONG time ago and play a few hours later TODAY rather than tomorrow when most fans can't be there. I think that would've worked much better for us!!
Definitely without a doubt a game at any time today would benefit USC. But it would be worse to fill the place, allow the players to warm up, oops then wait, warm up, oops then wait. I was planning on attending today from Rock Hill, and will not be able to attend tomorrow, but players and fans safety trumps my disappointment. Cocks will overcome. SC wins next Five in a row.
Well, Monday afternoon, will Carolina be playing in front of a mostly empty stadium since so many fans had tickets for today's game but won't be able to make it for Monday afternoon's game.

I realize optimism is frowned on here, but I'll bet there's a pretty decent crowd there tomorrow & no arms are being used today, at least.
