We didn't see much during the spring because with the exception of men's basketball and the NCAA Tournament... 90% of non-revenue sports were canceled and didn't hit the bottom line until later this summer when we saw mid-major and major schools canceling non-revenue sports...

Now we're seeing the Big 10 and PAC 12 canceling football this fall and will hold it this Spring...If the SEC, ACC & BIG 12 pushes on with football this fall, then Spring Football may not happen for Big 10 and PAC 12 teams... Just my gut feeling...

Getting back to trickle down economics in college, you'll see more Big 10 and PAC 12 teams eliminate non-revenue sports. Stanford eliminate 11 non-revenue sports and others will follow in these major schools within Big 10 and PAC 12 in regards to non-revenue sports..

On top of eliminating non-revenue sports, you have other factors like city revenue from sales taxes, hotels, restaurants, college apparel vendors, parking vendors, and other local businesses and vendors that rely on college football every year in the fall... Even in bad years, people still go to these games like at Carolina and vendors make money...

As Jack Brewer said, the reason for the Big 10 and PAC 12 canceling their college football is all political and nothing to do with safety... Look at the states and cities that are still locked down mode... Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, California, and Oregon...
