Will not be featured in the pre-game intro video before 2001 per a Twitter post from Sportstalk. Likewise no images or audio of Spurrier will be used either. I think its a shame on several levels. First, I have always loved Spurrier's Tennessee twang piercing the roar of the crowd in that video. You could almost feel it grating on opposing fans ears and psyches. Second, I think it would have gotten an even bigger ovation than normal from our fans this week. A Tater friend reminded me today how raucous Death Valley was for Dabos first game after Tammy Bowden left. Different circumstances between Spurrier's and Bowden's departures for sure, but the one thing in common for the fans is the same hope for renewal moving forward. I have a feeling the team is going to play really well this weekend.
