Four-star DE and former USC commitment Arden Key has released a top five of Oregon, Miami, LSU, Ole Miss, and South Carolina. Key says that list is in order. Let's just say I'm not buying that.
As we mentioned in our last update recently, Key plans on making a commitment at some point this summer. Remember, he recently stated that he knew where he wanted to go to school. After we followed up, he told me that he was "100%" sure and we also reported that we felt USC was in strong position.
Key also mentioned today that the programs within his top five are the only schools he plans on speaking with going forward. So, things are still at least open to others but I am confident that USC is the team to beat. This is a case, I think, where a recruit is having some fun with his list.
