we need a new BB coach. Martin doesn't recruit very well at alldon`t get that one. Alabama - maybe. Arky - no.
He did not. He was a Christian man who lived up to his testimony. He was also able to tout effort because the effort led to championships to an unprecedented and probably never to be duplicated degree. Otherwise, you never would have heard of him.
You're talking about Ole Sam. I heard about Ole Sam. He's the one that cheated. UCLA was merely the beneficiary. He also ran a program that cheated its ass off to get those players, which he turned a blind eye to for years, and the NCAA also turned a blind eye to when it found out because by then Wooden was too big an identity (think Krzyzewski) in the sport, and of course they had zero balls to step up and do something about it.
Most people view UCLA under Wooden these days like they view UNC under Williams: as a cheating program that is allowed to get away with it....

Not the same. Ole Sam was an exogenous factor. Not so AFAM.Yep, and those horrible AFAM people were the ones that cheated at UNC. The UNC MBB and FB programs were merely the beneficiaries......
