I wanted to let my Gamecock Friends know of the passing of my dear,sweet and loving wife of 64 years, Barbara Driver Brandon.
She died peacefully at home last week. My avatar is a picture of her in front of Dove Cottage in Grasmere, England. This was the home of William Wordsworth.
Barbara taught Senior English Literature. She loved the English and Scots poets and we took several trips over there for her to visit their homes. Beautiful lady inside and out. She is with her Lord and I am rejoicing for her.
She was Gamecock strong.
