Pittman visited USC for summer camp and worked with Kirk Botkin and First Coast alum Shaq Wilson who is of course now a graduate assistant for linebackers. Wilson is highly thought of by everyone at First Coast whether former or current players and his success at USC really helped the Gamecocks' cause here.

Pittman is a physical, in-the-box type of linebacker who could probably play either inside spot in USC's scheme. I have not heard which position he will start at, but to me he looks more like a MIKE LB.
