Philadelphia Eagles: The Eagles have officially announced 15 assistant coaches. Seven retained coaches include special teams coordinator Dave Fipp, assistant special teams coach Matthew Harper, tight ends coach Justin Peele, running backs coach Duce Staley, offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland, offensive quality control / QB coach Press Taylor and cornerbacks coach Cory Undlin. The 8 new additions include former Chargers offensive coordinator Frank Reich (OC), former Bills defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz (DC), Saints offensive assistant Greg Lewis (wide receivers), Chiefs assistant offensive line coach Eugene Chung (OL / tight ends / run game coach), former Browns linebackers coach Ken Flajole (LB), former UNLV defensive coordinator Tim Hauck (safeties), former Redskins director of player development Phillip Daniels (defensive quality control) and Chiefs coaching assistant Dino Vasso (defensive quality control).

Philadelphia Eagles: Linebackers coaches Rick Minter and Bill McGovern and offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur will not return, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Houston Texans: Defensive line coach Paul Pasqualoni has resigned to spend time with his family, according to the Houston Chronicle. The former Syracuse and UConn head coach spent one year with the Texans.

Appalachian State: Kent State offensive line / assistant head coach Shawn Clark has joined the Appalachian State staff as offensive line coach, according to multiple reports. Clark spent three years at Kent State and is a former App State player.

The Citadel: Defensive coordinator Maurice Drayton will remain on staff and add the title of assistant head coach, according to the Post and Courier, which adds that he will receive a raise, and new head coach Brent Thompson's contract is a 5-year deal that will pay him $175,000 annually.

James Madison: Per source, Citadel outside linebackers coach Tripp Weaver will follow Mike Houston to JMU. Weaver spent two years at The Citadel.

Carolina Panthers: Offensive coordinator Mike Shula tells Fox Sports he was willing to interview for head coaching jobs during the playoffs, but he didn’t receive interest. There had been a report that Shula wouldn’t interview during the playoffs, but Shula refuted that.

Auburn: On Gus Malzahn, athletic director Jay Jacobs told a crowd Tuesday, “I believe in Gus when we hired him and I still believe in Gus.”


UTSA:
Tulane defensive backs coach Jason Rollins will join the UTSA staff as defensive backs / assistant head coach, according to The Advocate. Rollins was the only Tulane assistant retained this offseason and has been at the school since 2008. In addition, LSU assistant strength coach Ryan Filo has joined the UTSA staff. Filo was at LSU for six years. Keep track of new FBS staffs here.

Lamar: Per source, former Texas Tech outside linebackers coach Trey Haverty has joined the Lamar staff. Haverty coached at Tech from 2013-14 after two years at TCU.

Michigan: Interim athletic director Jim Hackett will donate half of his $600,000 salary to Michigan’s “Athletes Connected” mental health program, according to MLive.com. Hackett also tells The Detroit News that an updated contract for Jim Harbaugh is just about done.

Tulane: The Advocate reports former Georgia Southern wide receivers coach Matt Barrett has joined Tulane as an offensive analyst, and former GSU defensive ends coach Johnny Jernigan will be a defensive analyst.

New York Giants: Former Bears assistant special teams coach Dwayne Stukes has joined the Giants as assistant special teams coach, according to Fox Sports’ Alex Marvez. Stukes was last with the Bears in 2014.

UTSA: LSU offensive analyst Jeff Kastl has joined the UTSA staff as wide receivers coach. Kastl spent one year at LSU and spent the previous two years as a defensive analyst at Michigan.

Eastern Washington: Folsom High School (CA) co-head coach Troy Taylor will join the Eastern Washington staff as co-offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach, according to the Sacramento Bee. Taylor has been at Folsom since 2012.

Buffalo Bills: Pro Football Talk reports the Bills have promoted administrative assistant Kathryn Smith to special teams quality control coach. Smith, who spent the previous seven years as a player personnel assistant with the Jets, becomes the first full-time female assistant coach in NFL history.

Maryland: The Baltimore Sun has obtained some contract details for Maryland assistants. Defensive coordinator Scott Shafer has a three-year deal that will pay him $500,000 in 2016, $1 million in 2017 and $750,000 in 2018, with all of it guaranteed, subject to offset if Shafer is dismissed and lands another job. If Shafer leaves for another job in the first year, he would owe 50 percent of the base salary, or 25 percent after. Offensive coordinator Walt Bell will earn $500,000 annually on a 3-year deal with the same buyout clauses, and special teams coordinator / assistant head coach Pete Lembo will earn $300,000 annually on a 2-year deal. Maryland will also pay Lembo’s $200,000 buyout to Ball State.

Tennessee Titans: Dick LeBeau’s new title with the Titans is assistant head coach / defensive coordinator.

Cleveland Browns: Pep Hamilton’s title with the Browns is associate head coach / offense.

Chicago Bears: The Bears have blocked outside linebackers coach Clint Hurtt from joining the Dolphins staff as defensive line coach, according to Sports Illustrated’s Thayer Evans.

UTSA: LSU graduate assistant Ryan Pugh will join the UTSA staff. Pugh spent one year at LSU and has also coached at Cincinnati, Virginia Tech and Auburn.

Nevada: Toronto Argonauts offensive line coach Jonathan Himebauch has joined the Nevada staff as offensive line coach. Himebauch has coached in the CFL since 2014 and from 2009-11. He coached Wake Forest’s offensive line from 2012-13. Keep track of open FBS assistant jobs here.

Indianapolis Colts: Chargers assistant defensive backs coach Greg Williams has joined the Colts as defensive backs coach. Williams spent the past seven seasons with the Colts.

Cleveland Browns: Titans defensive coordinator Ray Horton has joined the Browns the same role, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Horton spent two years with the Titans and was previously the Browns defensive coordinator in 2013. NFL Network's Albert Breer also reports that former Colts offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton will join the staff. Head coach Hue Jackson has previously said he plans to call plays himself.

San Jose State: Per source, Dixie State (UT) special teams / recruiting coordinator Will Harris has accepted the defensive backs job at San Jose State. Harris spent one year at Dixie State and the previous year at Humboldt State (CA).

Miami Dolphins: The Dolphins have officially named Bears offensive assistant Bo Hardegree as quarterbacks coach, as CoachingSearch reported last Thursday. Hardegree spent one year with the Bears with Adam Gase and was previously an LSU intern.

Chattanooga: The school has added Chattanooga Christian High School head coach Rob Spence (wide receivers coach), Lamar defensive line coach Carey Bailey (defensive line coach) and former player Kadeem Wise (director of football operations). Spence spent two years at Chattanooga Christian, and Bailey spent the last four years at Lamar.

USC: Assistant strength coach Kenechi Udeze has been promoted to defensive line coach, according to Scout.com. Udeze is a former USC player and has been on staff for one season. This completes Clay Helton’s staff.

Cleveland Browns: Vikings running backs coach Kirby Wilson has joined the Browns as running game coordinator, according to ESPN’s Josina Anderson. Wilson spent two years with the Vikings and coaching the Steelers running backs from 2007-13.

Oregon: Defensive coordinator Brady Hoke will earn $400,000 in the first year of a 3-year deal and $700,000 in the final two years, according to The Oregonian. Linebackers coach and former defensive coordinator Don Pellum will continue to earn $410,000.

New York Giants: ESPN reports Ben McAdoo is expected to retain running backs coach Craig Johnson, tight ends coach Kevin Gilbride, cornerbacks coach Tim Walton and safeties coach David Merritt.

Richmond: Florida quality control coach John Garrett has been named offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach at Richmond. Garrett was at Florida for one season after serving as Oregon State’s offensive coordinator. He has also coached with the Bucs, Cowboys, Cardinals, Bengals and Virginia.

Texas Tech: The school has officially announced the additions of North Texas defensive line coach Kevin Patrick and Louisiana Tech running backs coach Jabbar Juluke to the same positions, as previously reported.

San Francisco 49ers: Chip Kelly says running backs coach Tom Rathman will be retained, and Kelly will call the offensive plays. Rathman has been on the staff since 2009. Here is more from Kelly's introduction.

Pittsburgh Steelers: Mike Tomlin says he hope to retain all of his assistants for next season.

BYU: Former BYU wide receivers coach Ben Cahoon has been renamed to the same position with the Cougars. Cahoon coached BYU’s receivers from 2011-12 after his CFL playing career. Cahoon spent the past three years in the business world.

Rutgers: Chris Ash has completed his full-time Rutgers staff. Here is the completed staff.

East Mississippi CC: Coral Shores High School (FL) head coach Ed Holly has joined the EMCC staff as defensive coordinator, according to Florida Sports Talk, and Texas A&M graduate assistant Justin Sanders has joined as defensive backs coach. Holly spent five seasons as Coral Shores’ head coach.

TCU: Former Oklahoma State quarterback JW Walsh will join the TCU staff as a graduate assistant, according to multiple reports. Walsh just finished his playing career at OK State.

South Florida: Michigan senior offensive analyst T.J. Weist will join the USF staff as wide receivers coach, according to Fox Sports’ Bruce Feldman. Weist spent one season at Michigan and worked with Willie Taggart at Western Kentucky from 2002-06.

Tennessee: Bob Shoop details his 12-hour interview at Tennessee and the biggest impression he made.

Garden City CC (KS): Georgia graduate assistant Steve Shimko has joined the Garden City staff as offensive coordinator. Shimko spent one year at UGA and previously served as Western Michigan director of player personnel.

Tennessee Titans: Mike Mularkey’s contract is a 3-year deal, according to ESPN.com.

Washington: Senior associate athletic director Jennifer Cohen has been named interim athletic director. Cohen has been at UW since 1998.

Philadelphia Eagles: Former Browns offensive coordinator John DeFilippo will join the Eagles as quarterbacks coach, according to Fox Sports’ Mike Garafolo. DeFilippo spent one year with the Browns after coaching the Raiders quarterbacks from 2012-14.

Washington Redskins: Former Colts defensive coordinator Greg Manusky will join the Redskins staff as outside linebackers coach, according to Fox Sports’ Alex Marvez. Manusky spent the last four years with the Colts and previously coached with the Redskins in 2001.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Dirk Koetter tells KTIK that he expects to have a small staff, with 15-20 assistants. The 2015 Bucs staff had 20 assistants.

San Francisco 49ers: Bills running backs coach Anthony Lynn will interview for the 49ers offensive coordinator job, per Fox Sports’ Alex Marvez.

Philadelphia Eagles: Former Chargers offensive coordinator Frank Reich is expected to interview for the Eagles offensive coordinator within the next 24 hours, according to ESPN’s Adam Caplan.

College Football Playoff: Former Michigan head coach Lloyd Carr is expected to be one of four additions to the selection committee, according to ESPN’s Heather Dinich.

Tennessee Titans: Former Giants defensive line coach Robert Nunn interviewed for the Titans defensive line job on Tuesday, per Fox Sports.
