Defensive staff scouting our own offense

Heard during the game that we had our defensive staff scout our offense during the bye week. Great idea, but isn't that something we should always do?? I hope we continue to do that going forward.

Every team does that. Usually during the bye week. They scout each other as if they were gonna play them and share what they found. Theres a ton of math, stats, tendency charts and crap that goes into it so it’s hard to do every week. These gameplans take 10-15 hours of film breakdown of lots of opponents games and data entry, thats why its done the bye week

Im guessing the first 8 games were enough to show lots of statistical tendencies that the team corrected
