Loved the gutsy win. Building block. And Todd and Tommy are great Gamecocks - no question. But man, they are painful to listen to.
We have a beach week this week, so had to listen to the game today while driving. Todd and Tommy are great guys and Gamecocks. But they are awful calling a game. I’m not looking for Joe Buck or Al Michaels. I just want yardline, down and distance, time, score, situation, and a somewhat clear read back on what is happening. You rarely get that with those 2.
I guess I am complaining, and I hate to complain after a hard fought win like today. Our team showed guts. Our program showed guts. Our announcing team is passionate. But they couldn’t pass a Broadcast Journalism 101
course. We need an upgrade for our radio team.
