After the game we had a quick Happy Hour, two CU couples and two USC couples. These are good folks and good friends, so I said nothing. One of the CU grads asked me who won (like he didn’t know). I said another walk off victory, and was very complimentary of tater baseball. His response was, well it’s not football season...you see when they lose to us in basketball and baseball they don’t care? I call BS, this phenomenon only appears when they lose in those two sports. Lose, and they don’t matter? Win and they’ll be ‘all in’. Seriously, this happened 30 minutes ago..
