UNACCEPTABLE. Yes I think Holbrook left us in a bad spot, but coaching is about getting the best out of players, and that doesn't seem to be happening right now.
I did not expect immediate, overwhelming success. I did not expect to lose to The Citadel, Furman and swept by GA. Got to motivate them, coach them, encourage, and get them to regain confidence, swagger, attitude that borders on, but is not, over the top. Right now our best programs seem to be women's basketball, softball, beach volleyball and yes, football is clearly exceeding expectations at this point. That is nothing against those teams, in fact, thank goodness we've got them, but we have a history and tradition on the diamond, and it be nice to see it return asap.
