Since coming to USC in the fall of 17’ I’ve seen a lot of dynamic pass catchers: Deebo Samuel, Bryan Edwards, Hayden Hurst, Shi Smith. Seems like we’ve always had at least one or two elite WR/TEs on all those teams.
Josh Vann definitely comes to mind with this year’s team. Josh is spectacular. However, before the bowl game I don’t think Jaheim Bell was getting the recognition he deserves.
Bell is a matchup nightmare. The definition of versatility when it comes to size/speed/hands/and feel for the game. With Rattler coming in and this offense adding another TE and WR in the portal, I could see Bell benefiting most next season. Adding guys like Stogner and Wells is gonna open up the seam/middle of the field even more which is where Bell does his best work.
