One of the teammates of Decatur (Ga.) Columbia DL commitment Jhaustin Thomas told Keith Niebuhr of Rivals.com that Thomas is going to be visiting Ole Miss with him and teammate Kenno Loyal (Ole Miss commitment) officially the weekend of January 20.
I spoke this morning with Columbia head coach Mario Allen, and he said he did not think that Thomas would be making that trip unless he came to him and said he wanted to. As of now that has not happened. That was Allen's opinion, however. He wasn't sure if he would be taking it.
As I stated the other day, Thomas has some academic work to do in order to qualify, and I was told this morning he had a pretty significant amount of work to do. I'll keep everyone updated if I hear he's taking the trip one way or another.
