Standard Wednesday availability. Live updates in this post.

Satterfield

--Both quarterback and center has priority on making audible calls. Said some of the communication issues were in part because of a new team in a new system and new coaching staff. Said that's the stuff they're cleaning up this week.

--Try to script some routine throws for Doty early to build some confidence. Said Satterfield would have looked at someone crazy if they said Doty played as much as he did. Looked good in practice today and getting more confidence day by day. Noland was taped up but throwing the ball around today.

--On the offensive line, they're constantly competing and "no one has earned the right" to just coast at their position on the entire team. A few guys have solidified themselves but there are a couple that are still competing harder than others.

--Playbook isn't going to change much if Doty is the starter against Kentucky.

--Said they're not going to try and change much from a day to day perspective and don't want to be reactionary after a loss, same as a win. They're harping on communication a little bit more and the first two days of practice have been really good from a communication standpoint.

--Happy with the explosive play nature of the offense so far. Said it's really hard to drive eight or nine plays in the SEC and happy with where things are from a vertical pass threat.

--Said not getting Juju McDowell touches "is a complete failure on my part." Said it's eating him alive and "won't happen again."

--On communication, said he might have let a few things slide in practice and didn't bite them too much against EIU and ECU. Said now they're focusing on it a little bit more to make sure those issues don't crop up.

--Wants to use tempo to his advantage and that allowed them to catch UGA off guard last week and resulted a few big plays or conversions.

--This weekend is going to be "huge for a staff like ours" from a recruiting standpoint. Said it's one thing to watch a team play on TV and then experience the energy around the team. It's different than some of the Gamecocks' other competitors. It's "huge for us."

--Josh Vann finally has some belief and confidence around him. Satterfield said he might have put some limitations on himself with some of the surrounding noise on him and finally has some belief he can go out and make plays.

--MarShawn Lloyd's had some "really good carries, really good runs." This is his first action ever at the college level and he's getting stronger, especially at the end of the UGA game. Said he didn't flinch in "grown up collisions." They need to continue giving him opportunities. "He's only going to get better." Kevin Harris might move a little faster through rehab because he's played college football before.

Clayton White

--It's a "huge boost" to force a bunch of turnovers through three games. That's a momentum swing, especially getting timely ones.

--Damani Staley and Mo Kaba are working really hard and studying. Said they need to continue to get better from a communication standpoint. Said they talked about moving Brad Johnson to the MIKE but the best thing to do right now is keep him at WIL.

--The main football philosophy on stripping the ball is to secure the tackle and then the next two or three guys there try and punch the ball out. They want to continue to harp on it because "turnovers come in bunches."

--Jaylan Foster is like a coach on the field. Very smart and those guys are fun to coach.

--Kentucky has another SEC offensive line. They're run heavy and a tough group to go against. Stopping the run first is the priority.

--Felt like the defensive line competed hard against Georgia. Definitely feel like going against Georgia will help them. They're trying to go through blocks.

Jalen Brooks

--Said his catch was similar to one he made in practice during the week. Said he watches it every time it pops up.

--He's excited about the receiver production so far this season and having an explosive offense and vertical passing attack.

--Look Doty always took mental reps and has always been prepared for things. He and Doty even threw while Doty was banged up after practices.

Jakai Moore

--Feels the offensive line has played OK at times but can always get better. Said communication has been going well this week and they're trying to talk through plays before they even happen.

--Thought the offensive line was on the same page for the most part against Georgia.

--Luke Doty "always brings energy" said he's looked like Luke Doty in practice.

--Very optimistic about the offensive line moving forward. "It's going to be successful. You'll see Saturday."

Zeb Noland

--Hand feels good and he was throwing the ball around today at practice.

--Jokes when he was getting evaluated all he wanted to do was go talk to Doty about what he was seeing and talk to him.

--Said there's still a lot to show offensively and a lot of playmakers who can still touch the ball. Said those guys are obviously at the mercy of the quarterback to touch the ball and it's up to them to get those playmakers the ball.

--Said on the play he got hurt, said he didn't really see what happened. He got thrown around and by the time all was said and done he got stepped on.

--Teams can simulate crowd noise all they want but it's different when you're in the actual game. Said Kentucky is going to deal with the same issues this weekend. Said there were times he clapped and no one moved. Said that's the miscommunication stuff.

--Saturday was probably the happiest he's been playing football since he grew up around Athens. Hated he got hurt and wanted to give everything he had. "I know they're good but I didn't care. I just wanted to live in the moment."

--Said it's a blessing in disguise this team got to play Georgia because they're "going to get the same out of Kentucky." Mentioned UK struggling with UTC and said South Carolina struggled with ECU. Said they' have a lot of good players. Mentioned the linebacker from Ole Miss and the cornerbacks. They have a lot of respect for Kentucky.

"They're coming into Willy B to beat us. They're not afraid."

--Receivers just "show up every day and work hard." Thinks they pull each other along and understand how to lead and work. Think Jalen Brooks can be a leader and be a really good player in this offense.

That's a wrap.
