What day is it? You guessed it: bowl game day.
The Gamecocks are here and so is Gamecock Central getting ready for the Birmingham Bowl scheduled to kickoff at 2 p.m. EST on ESPN. Both teams are here warming up right now on a brisk and windy day in beautiful Birmingham.

This is a big game for both teams with South Carolina trying for a winning record with USF goes for win No. 11.
There are not many fans here yet but kickoff isn't for another 100 minutes, so we'll see how it pans out. Walking around it didn't seem like a high-capacity crowd.
I will say the field is not in great condition. It looks fine, but it felt very thin. We'll see how the players adjust and if it will affect anything. No major news to report as of right now, but we'll have updates throughout the day as usual.
