Gamecock coordinators and a few players are meeting with the media today. Live updates will be in this post.

Marcus Satterfield

--Offensive line is not playing well enough, "that's for sure." Said thought they'd be further along but had a few things happen that set them back. Have to coach better and play better.

--Doesn't think it's a scheme issue up front. Communication has improved weekly and is "night and day" better than what it was. Coaching needs to be better and they have to run the stuff that works on the field and not on the whiteboard. They know they can be better and coach better.

--Mentioned saw a few tells schematically based on alignment in terms of defense being able key in on certain plays or protections, etc.

--Said there's nothing they're doing, especially from a run game standpoint, that's not what every team at every level is doing. Doesn't think it's complex "by any stretch of the imagination." Said he has to look at what he's asking players to do and trying to tailor the run scheme to the talent and personnel. Said they have to keep plugging away and eventually they'll have success. Jokes he understands fans hearing that will make them want to gouge their eyes out.

--Quarterbacks are working well. Been a "great week" in terms of preparation. Not going to reveal information on who's going to play but seen improvement after the bye week. Noland still a little banged up, he said, coming off that surgery.

--Been pleased with Jason Brown's work habits. Brown certainly sees an opportunity to go out there and show what he can do this weekend if he plays.

--Jokes O'Mega Blake was "dropping dimes" during scout period work today.

--Can definitely see a possibility of playing multiple quarterbacks this weekend. Trying to protect Gauthier from a redshirt perspective but could easily see playing two guys.

--Florida runs two quarterbacks because the Gators have two guys who are capable whereas right now if South Carolina does it it's because of injuries.

--Jason Brown's further along than most third string guys he's been around because of his prior staring experience. Said this could be a perfect storm if he's playing to show what he can do because he's gotten to ease into things.

Clayton White

--Isn't going to make excuses about the defense being on the field for long stretches and a lot of plays. There's a little bit of that but they have to be better and being better getting off the field on third down.

--O'Mega Blake's doing a good job and having fun with it. This is a team full of athletes and it's "big time" to be able to replicate some of that speed in practice so guys can get familiar with that speed and look.

--Take it very personal knowing Florida likes to run the ball and will try to establish that early. Quarterbacks know how to operate in the run game. Said every week is personal.

--In terms of self-scouting said they got to see how they compare and dive into other schemes. Said they got to take a really good at each position. It's a fine line and it's about finding out what they're doing and just do it better.

--JJ Enagbare is a guy who "can take over a game if he wants to." Teams have to account for him and there are still areas he can improve but he's in the middle of a really, really good season.

--Asked about young linebackers, said they played well against Texas A&M and the goal is to keep that position fresh and the guys are locked in to doing their job and doing it well together. The more guys they can have ready to play the better they'll be.

--Mo Kaba and Debo Williams both earned more playing time moving forward.

Vincent Murphy

--Offensive line, understands they've had some struggles and they're working on it every day. Right now he's the "next man up" at both guard spots and center.

--He's grown a lot at center playing there playing behind guys like Eric Douglas, etc. He's a lot better, stronger, quicker, understands the game a lot better. Whenever he gets he feels really comfortable and not hesitating.

--Understands the offensive performance hasn't been great but he thinks they've been a lot better communicating up front in terms of identifying MIKEs, safety rotations, etc.

Eric Douglas

--Said the offense isn't as bad as it seems but they're making progress. Said they just have to do their job and having trust in the people around you. If all 11 are on, "it's going to be special."

--They just have to have trust in their teammates. If all 11 trust the other person is going to do his job they'll be a "well-oiled machine."

--Asked about zone blocking, said its' about hitting a landmark and getting to a target. You're not trying to force the running back a certain way but instead giving them a few different options. Inside zone, it's about two double teams and it's more downhill. It's two to three hands on a dude instead of four hands.
