Hello all from the final football game of the year. Seems like the season just started but here we are from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa where South Carolina (8-4) takes on Michigan (8-4) at noon.
Momentum wise this is a big game for the Gamecocks would can show some progress for the program with a win. They'll try and do it against a top-five defense in Michigan.
The team arrived about 20 minutes ago with everyone making the trip. Jam Williams, who had shoulder surgery and won't play, made the trip and is here with the team.
Field conditions are not ideal (very bad) and there will be a lot of slippage on the field. The paint also seems very wet, so we'll see how things go from a footing standpoint.
I'll keep track of that as things go and as we get updates up here.
