Marketing and exposure in Greenville. (Big Donor thread brought this on.)

Driving on 1-85 what do you see? A huge orange sign sitting on the side of the interstate, brightly lit up at night. Can’t miss it.
(It’s that automobile training or testing facility they built there.)

Walking down beautiful, crowded, trendy, and rapidly growing, Main Street Greenville, what do you see? A huge tater paw on the side of a tall building. Can’t miss it.

Also, I’ve noticed posters and banners saying something like, “Greenville is Orangeville” or something similar with the same intended effect.

I realize Carolina has Columbia, and clemson only has pickens county area.

But, Carolina would do well to market Greenville and Charleston more too.
(Maybe we are, and I’ve just missed it.)

Side Discussion: Radio exposure is better for clemson.
(But, this doesn’t concern me as much as it once did. Streaming is a thing now.)
