We are heavily tracking Brent Key as a candidate to watch for the vacant offensive line coaching position on the Gamecock football staff.
Key is currently at Georgia Tech (he's an alum) as the assistant head coach/run game coordinator/offensive line coach. That's on the heels of three seasons at Alabama and a lengthy tenure at UCF.
His career began as a graduate assistant at Georgia Tech in 2001, one year after Shane Beamer began his career as a graduate assistant in Atlanta.

I've still been tracking SMU OL coach AJ Ricker to an extent since he is someone that we were looking into during the process. As I reported before the hiring of Marcus Satterfield, Garrett Riley was not going to be the guy at South Carolina. That would seem to make Ricker unlikely.
