He’ll swear he didn’t put it there. But the plumber was an honest man. It appears. He might have pocketed a few hundreds.
 
He could have forgot where he hid it. He might have hid so much he couldn’t keep up with where it all was. I had an uncle like that. He hid his whiskey bottles everywhere on the farm - in the silo chute, under the feed rack, in the milk room, in tractor tool boxes, under truck seats. When I was a teenager and wanted a taste, it’d just be a matter of looking around until you found some. Unc knew if he brought it home, my aunt would throw his arse out.
