- The recruiting benefit of going to a final four takes time. It's ready to kick in!

- Although he publicly berates his players, they love him.

- He is turning boys into men, regardless of record.

- Some public figures love him. Let's not upset the apple cart.

- We have been average at basketball for many years. It's who we are. A new coach won't change this.

- He is dealing with injuries, covid and suspensions. Wait until he has a full compliment of players.

- He is a good guy.

Frank has the Coliseum packed for every game, fans dress up as their favorite seat...

Wonder what Ron Morris would be writing about USC Basketball if he was still employed by The State

In 10 years, he’s signed one 5 star and five 4 stars. Where else are we going to find that kind of recruiting success?

The same Ron Morris who tried to tell people Darrin Horn reminded him of a young coach K?
He was nothing but a mouthpiece for his old Chapel Hill buddy Eric Hyman. He never ripped the hire of Horn but went off on Holtz and Spurrier (McGee hires). Fraud

We don’t want to steal any of the spotlight from the women’s team.

There is no transfer portal yet for coaches.

We are saving money for when we need to open the checkbook for CSB.

RT doesn’t want to be berated by CFM when he fires him.

We don't care about basketball whatsoever.
We have to quit shelling out millions each year if we really don't care. We are the 17th ranked college athletics department in terms of resources and we are playing at the #109 level. Is there hope of improvement, or do we continue doing the same thing? Will we ever hit rock bottom? How about some tough love.

Is there a AA program for Gamecock MBB fans? I need to be in it! 😉

Exactly. MoRon was always propping up and defending the coaches that underperformed (putting it nicely) and going after the future HOFers that actually won.

He would've had a field day chastising and ginning up the fans by telling us we're lucky to have Martin every week. SO glad he's gone.

Believe you covered it. Most of what you've describe sounds like an inner city youth after-school program. He has done a good job for the most part but his teams are always going to be limited by his persona and style of play.

Holtz and Spurrier were both amazing hires!
