--Nothing's changed as of last night. Team tested this morning. They have a few positives on the staff. The plan is to go play. Tests should come back between 2-3 and then they leave soon after. If they have more positives then things might change.

--Never had any thought about canceling or postponing. That's why they got vaccinated. He's upset they still have policies up that are still pre-vaccinated. Said if they're going to play a season they have to have protocols that haven't adapted based on vaccinations. Said the five-day window from when this started so not sure if there's a plan to test tomorrow.

--Said they were down three guys in practice yesterday and it ballooned after that. Mentioned Jermaine Couisnard and AJ Wilson were two of the six so that means four positives. Said practice was really good yesterday and he's not going to allow the mindset that came last season.

--It's easier to game plan when you're missing one or two guys. When you're down six, you have to make adjustments. Offensively, you don't spend a lot of time creating strategy to play through strengths of guys who barely play. There's just not a lot of time. But when those guys are going to have to play large chunks, they have to adjust what they do because of that. They've had to make adjustments yesterday. They'll try and make a few adjustments today and then again in shoot around tomorrow before the Saturday game.

--Clemson is an old team. Have a bunch of veterans who have been around for a while so there's a clear understanding on how to play. Older guys have a certain mindset. They can really shoot and "are a really good team." Said they're really good and those losses they had are against really good teams. They can really score and they stress things on the defensive side of things. They have great players and South Carolina is going to "have to play out of our minds." These are the games he wants to play. He respects Brad Brownell's teams and he's doing tremendous things for Clemson and this state. It's really hard to guard them.

--Said the "status has not changed" in terms of vaccination rate. All but two guys were vaccinated entering the season.

--He struggles watching teams who play West Virginia because he ends up watching just WVU because of Bob Huggins. Clemson is going to make threes in games so it's not about shutting them down from hitting them but limiting the number of three-pointer attempts. Being able to score is going to be imperative. Can't go on dry spells scoring and have to make free throws. Will have to make adjustments with the personnel they have. That "is what it is." Mentions they'll be missing some guys who "are a big part of our team."

--Would rather not identify individuals who have tested positive. It's not going to be a secret but they'll figure it out on Saturday. Has no idea how it got into his team but seeing numbers sky rocket everywhere. Said numbers are increasing because people are spending more time inside. Not sure how it got into the locker room. Mentions they did travel two weeks in a row and played in sold out arenas in Rock Hill and at Coastal. Said "this is not our first rodeo."

--Reiterates again it's hard to do your job with protocols that were in place before vaccines were in place. Said they have to try and change those post-vaccinations and if guys are going to be exposed and have the same policies they had pre-vaccine, it's going to be hard to play the season in its entirety. Said "here we go again" and frustrated with decision makers who didn't have conversations before the season started.

--They'l slide Keyshawn Bryant to the four to start the Clemson game. Brandon Martin can play there and had some good preparation before the Allen game and played really well and with the aggression and discipline they expect him to.

--"Thank god we have that depth." Said they have a bunch of guys who've contributed at multiple spots. Keyshawn Bryant is interchangeable and misses time with the suspension, Couisnard had a pulled hamstring and dealt with flu bug stuff as well. They've struggled with that and that's what's going to happen Saturday. Couisnard practiced but limped around in practice and wasn't effective. Said that wouldn't be helpful to anyone out there. Just about him being at peace with his body.

--If South Carolina can't play and doesn't have enough bodies to play it'll go down as a no contest. Only league games will be forfeits.
