--Bittersweet feeling knowing this will be his last game. Said he hopes to go out on a high note and is taking every day and having fun.

--Said it was kind of shocked seeing Jason Brown transferring and said it was hard to see him go. Called him a friend and said "seeing a guy leave early is tough." Said Jason Brown did a lot of good things for the program.

--Asked if he was going to be the starter before Brown left, said he didn't know and they had just started practice. Said he would love to come back next season as part of the grad assistant staff.

--Jokes he came here without any idea how to recruit and then hit the season fast. Doesn't care about the wins and losses and it's about the friends he made and the journey along the way.

--Said he wants to win to send the seniors who went through the coaching change off the right way and set the program off the right way into the future. Said this isn't "jack around time." They want to prepare the right way while having fun to try and win the game.

--Mentions he's "very, very, very thankful" he got to know Josh Vann as a person. As much success as he had this year, he's stayed humble and competitive through all of it and said he's going to be a great father to his daughter. He works hard, wants to be successful. Knows what he has to do to be that and provide now for his family.

--Asked to give advice to Rattler on being a transfer coming in, said he can be a good quarterback without throwing touchdown passes by the person and leader he can be. Said he'll do a great job coming in and ingratiating himself into the room.

--Gives credit to Beamer for being up front about the Rattler news. Didn't get into too many details.

--Asked about next steps for the offense, said if you just pay attention to stats it might not look great but they've made strides and if you pay attention to who was in and out of those games then it changes how it looks. Said they have a good interior line and that's a good building block moving forward.

Zacch Pickens

--Calls JJ Enagbare a "freak" and said it was an honor playing with him and next to him. Enagbare recruited him while Pickens was going through his process.

--Right now he's just focused on the bowl game and "whatever happens, happens" after that.

--Right now they're focused on them and not doing much North Carolina prep.

--He's talking to his mom a lot about deciding about NFL Draft reasons. If he leaves, he leaves a group of guys he played a lot of games with. If he comes back, then he has a chance to come back and improve his draft stock.

--Enagbare was his host on his visit. Enagbare is a quiet guy and the two hand a lot of fun together.

Jaylan Foster

--Said finding out he was an All-American is incredibly emotional. Joked he cried watching the video and he already knew it.

--He sat down in the offseason with Torrian Gray and talked about what NFL scouts wanted to see. Said he didn't think about opting out of the bowl game. Wants to play any chance he can get.

--Said bowl practice has been fun seeing the young guys going through it the first time.

--Said he thinks he and his senior class left the program in a better place. He and the rest of the seniors talked before the season about goals this year and when they sit back after the bowl they'll think about how much better the program is right now.

--Mentions he doesn't begrudge anyone for wanting to transfer or declare early and miss the bowl. Said the guys that are here are here and those who are going through bowl practice are all in.

Cam Smith

--Asked about guys opting out and what this month's been like, said it's not about that and more about just keeping focus.

--Someone asks about Smith getting hate mail from, jokes that he was happy someone took the time to do it.

--Asked about draft thought process, said he feels like he's in the best position for himself and staying is probably the best option for him right now. Said having a kid changed his priority a little bit.

--Coming into the season he and the rest of the DBs knew what they could be. Doesn't think their performance is an accomplishment because there's still so much left to go. Mentioned getting everyone back besides Foster is huge.

Brad Johnson

--Said he's one of the few guys on the team who's played in a bowl game but the emphasis is about winning and not to get sidetracked with events and bowl outings. Those are a plus but "we have a job to do."

--Haven't made a decision about his future but that should come out after the bowl. For him, having one full year at linebacker was a transition. He got a full season there but scouts want to see more than just one year. Then talking to outside people and basing his decision on that and what's best for him and his family.

--This is a time period for a lot of younger guys to step up. Kolbe Fields is a guy who's stepped up and playing well in practice. He's picking things up well. Bam Scott is another guy, same with Debo Williams. Said Mo Kaba is going to "be a stud." Said this time is about taking the next step.

--Mentions his future decision is mostly coming down to returning to South Carolina or going pro but "all options are open."
