** Looking back on it, when you turn it over four times, it's hard to win. It's a great statement about our team that we found a way to win the game with all the turnovers and penalties. We had chances to put the game away when in plus territory but had penalties. Hard to win games in the SEC when you have four TOs and 10 penalties. We kept playing and found a way to win. It's a win even if it's ugly. We won the football game. Kids work way too hard and put way too much effort to not celebrate and enjoy every win. There was a lot of emotion in that locker room last night. All of that said, it's not okay to have all of those self-inflicted issues.

** We were beat up going into the game and are more beatup right now. Jahmar Brown did not play with a shoulder sprain. He's questionable. Jaylin Dickerson is iffy for this week with an ankle sprain. Kevin Harris and Eric Douglas have ankle sprains but think they'll play this week. Dylan Wonnum has a back issue but hope he's back this week. Have a bunch of bumps and bruises. That's what happens 7 games in. Luke Doty is "iffy" for this week. Zeb Noland will be our starting quarterback. MarShawn Lloyd is beat up and has a little bit of an ankle. Think he will be fine. ZaQuandre White has a little bit of an ankle too. Don't thinkany are long term but hope all will be good.

** Noland has been getting a lot of reps in practice anyway. We work first and second groups on offense and defense equally. He got plenty of work in practice. Luke had been the starting QB of course but Zeb had been getting some reps with the ones too. So the practice reps don't change a ton.

** Makes me proud of the team that they never flinched and they didn't panic and believed they would win the game.

** On that defensive delay of game: there's a rule that says you can't do anything to try to simulate a snap count. We benefitted from it against Georgia, but to me there was a difference in what UGA did and what we got called for Saturday. Foster was 12 yards away from the line and was clapping to alert our guys that we changed the call. The rule is what it is, but if we were trying to clap and get them to jump, we wouldn't have been doing it with the safety 12 yards off.

** On the fourth down: Their guy made a nice play and made the tackle. If you go back, maybe call something different there, but just didn't execute there.

** We created 10 explosive plays last night. We improved our average run per carry. We hit a big play down the middle to Jaheim that got called back. He started two drives coming out on the 1. It wasn't always pretty but it wasn't like we weren't moving the ball. We've got to score point. I'm not saying 21 is enough because it isn't.

** Beamer asked if he knew the A&M game was a trophy game. Says he really didn't until Steve Fink told him before the call. It's The Bonham Trophy that goes to the winner. Doesn't really change anything that it's a trophy game. We are looking to win the game regardless.

** Xavier Legette still has a lot of cuts and scrapes from his motorcycle accident. It wasn't anything that was life threatening but a lot of pain in dealing with the scrapes and cuts.
