I think "Walking in the Rain" is the greatest girl-group song from the 1960s, and that takes in a lot of territory.

I've never seen that picture and I thought I'd seen just about everything I could of Jimi. He sure got around that last couple of years before he left for England. He was so talented everyone would let him play with them, It was just a matter of time before he made it on his own.

Ronnie married Phil Spector after the group split up in 1967 and he apparently treated her horribly (surprise!). She got her life back together after she escaped that relationship. She died just this past Wednesday at 78. I still listen to their songs on occasion.....
I'm pretty sure I read in one of the many many books I've read about Jimi that he did indeed have a little bit of Ronnie. Along with about every other woman he spent much time with. Apparently they found him fairly irresistible.
Kudos to Eddie Money for the salute to Ronnie in his song "Take Me Home Tonight."
