I caught up with USC DE commitment Quandeski Whitlow tonight.
Recruiter Kirk Botkin and defensive coordinator Lorenzo Ward were both in Alabama today and met with him. Whitlow said that it was great and that in particular he enjoyed the chance to meet with Ward. He said USC told him that he will develop and be able to play as a true freshman.
I asked him where his commitment stands now: "100% pretty much says it all," he said.
He is still taking visits to Louisville (this weekend), USC (January 23) and Florida (January 30) as of now, so that's something to watch.
I asked if there was any chance he could see himself switching his commitment:
"Not now I can't," he said.
