Updated NET notes, SEC Tournament seeding

I'll have more on the NET tomorrow in a detailed article but thought I'd share USC's shot up the NET rankings, which replace the RPI this season. They've gone up 29 spots since Feb. 9 to No. 82 and picked up a Quad II win last night. Have seven either Quad I or II wins at this point of the season. Four of the team's remaining five opponents are in the top two quads.

As for the SEC Tournament, USC is now in sole possession of fourth place. Have five games left against teams that, right now, have a .500 or worse record in SEC play.

If everything stays the same through the next five games (they won't, because sports are weird) the Gamecocks would get a double bye in the SEC Tournament and won't have to play until Friday and would play the winner of No. 5 seed Ole Miss vs. Missouri/Georgia.

If you click the link in the tweet, it takes you to a very nerdy spreadsheet done by yours truly breaking down a few things the NET rankings consider.
