South Carolina head coach Shane Beamer and his staff are back on the road Wednesday for the third straight day and Beamer will cover quite a bit of ground today.

The Gamecocks' head coach will start the day at Chapin High School, which is of course the home of class of 2024 four-star QB Jayden Bradford, who was at the South Carolina-Clemson game on Saturday.

Chapin is also home to class of 2022 Appalachian State commit Zavier Short and the Gamecocks extended an offer today for the receiver/tight end prospect.

Beamer will be joined at Chapin by offensive coordinator Marcus Satterfield.

Beamer, Satterfield and offensive line coach Greg Adkins will then fly to the northeast where they will link up with Pete Lembo to meet with four-star OL commit Ryan Brubaker for his in-home visit.

** In addition to meeting with Brubaker tonight, Greg Adkins is scheduled to go by Dillon High today. Dillon is of course home to class of 2024 OL target Josiah Thompson. I believe the Gamecocks have staked an early lead with the in-state target.

** It's an important day for the Gamecocks and defensive coordinator/linebackers coach Clayton White as he's set to conduct an in-home visit with Hilton Head four-star linebacker and Notre Dame commit Jaylen Sneed.

White has been undeterred by Sneed's commitment to the Irish, choosing to continue to work the difference-making prospect throughout the process. As Chris Clark reported earlier this week, the main thing to keep an eye on here is the status of ND defensive coordinator Marcus Freeman, with who he has an excellent relationship.

Still, White and the Gamecocks have gotten a lot of facetime lately with Sneed and have made things interesting down the stretch.

White will also make in-state stops at Brookland-Cayce, Wagner Salley and Barnwell today.

Brookland-Cayce class of 2023 QB Tanner Staton was invited to a game earlier this year and is considered a PWO possibility for the Gamecocks.

BC 2022 RB Ian Myers received a PWO offer today.

** Running backs coach Montario Hardesty will make his pitch to four-star RB and Virginia Tech commitment Ramon Brown, one of my personal favorite prospects in the class, tonight during an in-home visit.

While in Virginia, Hardesty will check in on the following schools: Manchester (Brown's school), Life Christian Academy, Highland Springs, Benedictine and Hopewell.

Life is home to several players with South Carolina offers: 2023 four-star DB Antonio Cotman Jr., 2023 three-star OL Joshua Miller - both visited South Carolina recently - and 2022 target D'Andre Martin.

Highland Springs has several young prospects already in the database and that may be worth keeping an eye on in the future.

** Speaking of D'Andre Martin, defensive line coach Jimmy Lindsey is scheduled to meet with Martin for an in-home visit tonight in North Carolina (he goes to school at Life in Virginia but is from NC). That will be a key visit for Martin. He was considered a near lock to flip to the Gamecocks following his official visit, but with Virginia Tech now keeping his potential future position coach, it's probably a more interesting deal to keep an eye on.

Lindsey is set to hit his North Carolina territory all day, stopping by Cardinal Gibbons, Millbrook and Rolesville high schools.

Rolesville is home to 2023 four-star WR Noah Rogers, who is ranked the No. 65 overall prospect in his class, and has an offer from the Gamecocks.

Milbrook 2023 three-star WR Nathan Leacock is another to keep an eye on (and with a name like that, the Gamecocks should have to offer on principle alone).

** Tight ends coach Erik Kimrey is set to drop in on multiple schools in his Georgia territory today with Dacula, Collins Hill, Buford and North Gwinnett all on the docket.

The Gamecocks have offers out to 2024 four-star ATH KJ Bolden and Collins Hill 2023 four-star TE Ethan Davis.

Kimrey is also scheduled to conduct an in-home visit with four-star TE Oscar Delp tonight, though Delp is completely solid with the Bulldogs. Never a bad thing to continue those relationships though, when you consider how close the Delps and Kimrey got throughout the process.

** After spending Tuesday in the DMV with Jaishawn Barham, Mike Peterson will hit the Orlando area today.

Peterson is set to visit South Carolina EDGE commitment Bryan Thomas Jr. for an in-home tonight.

Mike P will also meet with coaches at Jones, Winter Park, Edgewater and Foundation Academy today.

The Gamecocks have an offer out to Edgewater 2023 four-star RB Cedric Baxter, though I'm not sure they're really in that one.

** Torrian Gray will remain in his Florida territories, starting the day at Venice High before heading to the Tampa area to check in on Kathleen and Lakeland high schools.

Gray will be at three-star DB commit JyVonte McClendon's practice today before conducting an in-home visit with him.

Venice has a duo of 2023 targets with offers from Carolina in four-star DB Elliott Washington and four-star DE Damon Wilson.

** As mentioned above, special teams coordinator Pete Lembo will be with Beamer and others as they conduct their in-home visit with four-star OL commit Ryan Brubaker.

Lembo is also set to make stops at Archbishop Wood, Pennridge, Exeter and Wyomissing.

Wyomissing is home to four-star 2023 OL Jven Williams, who has an offer from the Gamecocks, while Pennridge is home to 2023 four-star LB Phil Picciotti, who also has an offer.
