I could actually tell you the meaning of The Wall. It's not some trippy movie. It's actually a pretty compelling story. Love Pink Floyd.
The past coupłe of years I discovered an obscure PF song called Stay. It us very early PF but musically it sounds a little like 311 though with some pretty cynical lyrics after the first stanza
Listen to a record of Dark Side of the Moon, or at least listen to a recording of it non-stop. Like it is one complete song. The entire album just flows from one song to the next. Unbelievable stuff.
I always thought the song the Final Cut should be titled Comfortably Numb part 2

From beginning to end, Dark Side is the best album of all time. Gilmour's guitar work is amazing.
The Final Cut was essentially a Roger Waters solo album. So I call it the Pros and Cons of Hitch Hiking, Part 1.
